Our well-established client are looking for a Commercial Assistant to join their business.
Working closely with the Commercial Management team, you will support the implementation of commercial strategies and plans that meet the organisation's objectives.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
Identify and assess potential commercial opportunities and risks.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and vendors to strengthen business partnerships.
Monitor contract performance, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and initiating appropriate actions to address any issues.
Collaborate with divisional teams to procure project requirements.
Assist in running competitive tender processes across the supply chain, including supporting the preparation and review of documentation and financial information.
Respond to ad hoc commercial enquiries.
To be suitable for this challenging and pivotal role, you will have the following key skills and experience:
Commercial experience or a relevant qualification and interested in starting or developing career in a commercial environment
Sound understanding of a commercial environment.
Experience in project costing and building commercial relationships.
Composed, organised, professional, and resilient under pressure.
Ability to produce and present clear reports and papers.
Experience using contract forms such as LOGIC, NEC3 and NEC4, and BIMCO.In return, you will receive a salary of up to £35k ( DOE) + excellent benefits package.
