Our client is a global law firm that is recognised for its collaborative culture, high-quality work and commitment to excellence across both its legal and business services teams. Due to continued operational needs, the firm is now seeking an Evening Legal Secretary to join its London office.
The Opportunity
This is an Evening Legal Secretary position providing comprehensive secretarial and document production support to lawyers and business services professionals across the London office. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality, timely document production and administrative support during evening hours. Duties to include:
Providing advanced word processing and document production support
Creating, formatting and revising complex legal documents, including heavy document clean-ups and style formatting
Producing flow charts, tables, contents pages and indexes in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Managing document turnaround expectations and coordinating workflow to meet deadlines
Proofreading and quality checking all completed work
Editing and amending PDF documents and converting files
Troubleshooting basic user issues and providing technical formatting guidance
Handling printing, scanning and reprographics requests
Providing administrative support including timesheets, folder creation, travel arrangements and visitor requests
Answering and directing evening switchboard calls
Arranging couriers and taxis
Acting as an evening concierge point of contact for office personnelThis Evening Legal Secretary position is a full time, permanent, office-based role, Monday to Friday, 6 hours per day, with a start time of 4:00pm or 4:30pm.
Requirements
Minimum of five years' legal secretarial experience
Previous document production experience
