Goods Out Forklift Truck Driver (2 Shift – Temp to Perm)

Pay Rate: £14.65 per hour (2 shift rate)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Jackson Hogg are hiring on behalf of our client in Ferryhill (Primary Ops) for a Goods Out Forklift Truck Driver to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.
This role is focused on the safe and efficient movement and dispatch of finished goods within a busy manufacturing environment.

The Role
You will be responsible for ensuring finished goods are picked, prepared and dispatched accurately and safely.
Key responsibilities include:

Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently

Picking, staging and loading customer orders

Ensuring goods are correctly identified, labelled and prepared for dispatch

Following safe loading and dispatch procedures

Maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail

Working independently and managing priorities effectively

Upholding health & safety and housekeeping standards at all times
Candidate Requirements

Valid FLT licence / certification (essential)

Experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

Experience within goods out, logistics or dispatch (desirable)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable and able to work a 2-shift rotation
