Repairs Delivery Lead

Take the lead in delivering high-quality repairs that make a real difference to our customers’ homes. As a Repairs Delivery Lead at Amplius, you’ll manage a team of trade operatives delivering responsive repairs, ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You’ll drive performance, champion compliance and keep customer satisfaction at the heart of everything you do.
Salary: £44,000 per year
Contract: Permanent, full time
Your week: 36.25 hours Monday – Friday 8.45am – 5pm
Location: Hybrid with a weekly presence in our Milton Keynes office.
This role will cover the Amplius South region, including Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire and nearby areas.
As part of the role, you will take part in the on-call escalation rota outside of normal hours, with a rate of £315.52 per week (Thursday – Wednesday).
Snapshot of your role

Oversee the daily delivery of responsive repairs, ensuring work orders are completed on time and services run smoothly across your patch.

Work in partnership with Works Planners to assign jobs effectively, matching skills, location and urgency through scheduling systems to maximise productivity.

Track and drive performance against key measures, including first-time fix, turnaround times and customer satisfaction, taking action where improvements are needed.

Carry out post-inspection checks to ensure repairs meet quality expectations and comply with health and safety requirements, building standards and internal policies.

Take ownership of customer concerns, resolving complaints promptly and professionally while delivering high-quality repair solutions that strengthen trust and improve service outcomes.

Lead, support and motivate trade operatives through strong day-to-day supervision, structured workforce planning and talent development, while participating in the out-of-hours emergency rota as escalation manager for the Amplius South region.
What we’re looking for

A building-related qualification or demonstrable experience within a relevant trade or property environment.

Proven experience managing teams within a responsive repairs or maintenance setting.

Strong technical knowledge of housing repairs and maintenance services.

A solid understanding of compliance, quality standards and safe working practices within property services.

A customer-focused mindset, with a clear commitment to delivering excellent service outcomes.
A full UK driving license is essential for this role.
DBS clearance is required for this role.
