Merchandiser : Retail – The Job Outline

Raise PO’s in timely manner for both Seasonal and Never Out of Stock lines.

Accurate forward‑forecasting of intake and OTB to deliver sales & margin targets, highlighting any potential risk or opportunities

Ensure timely production planning to secure capacity and achieve on‑time deliveries

In‑season trading: analysing performance, highlighting best/worst sellers & proposing action

Maintain WSSI, stock integrity, critical paths and internal documentation

Manage supplier relationships and ensuring goods arrive on time and in full

Oversee branch distribution planning with the Retail team

Check and process supplier invoices & packing lists

Support senior management with process improvement initiatives

Monitoring competitor activity to influence strategy and decision‑making
Merchandiser : Retail – Required Skills & Experience

At least 3 years’ experience as a Junior Merchandiser/ or Merchandiser in a retail branded business

Commercial awareness and a proactive, results‑driven approach

Strong intermediate IT skills, especially Microsoft Office

Excellent communication, organisational and time‑management skills

High attention to detail, numeracy and the ability to work using your own initiative

Decisive, influential and able to build strong relationships all levels, internal & external.

Team player with a flexible, positive approach.
