Warehouse Administrator Opportunity in Bristol, Portbury BS20
Barker Ross are currently looking for a Warehouse Administrator in BS20 post code area, for a leading cold store comany looking to expand their ever growing operations team. This position will be temp to perm.
Shift Available: Monday - Friday 14:00 - 22:00
Duties and Responsibilities:
In this role you will complete varied tasks which include:
Keep goods in/out inventory, purchasing, shipping and other records up to date using AS400 WMS & Connect.
Look into damages, inventory adjustments, and shrink issues. If you need to pop into the Coldstore, don't worry! We will provide you with full PPE so you stay warm. This is an office based role!
Find products to ensure correct product ID, conduct cycle counts regularly and assist in physical inventories.
Look at stock numbers, pallet IDs, authorised substitutes, and other listed information with catalogues, manuals, product lists, and similar references to verify accuracy of shipping order.
Review files to find unused items and recommend disposal of excess or damaged products.
Help with new goods in/out booking requests via Outlook & sometimes telephone.
Who we're looking for:
Previous experience of stock control.
Previous experience of warehouse Management Systems. Although a willingness to learn is a must as these systems can be taught.
Computer literate,
Excellent organisation and administration skills.
Confident communicator both face to face and over the telephone.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: £13.12 per hour,
