The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Assembly & Manufacturing Operative to join a well-established manufacturer based in Rochdale. This is an excellent temporary-to-permanent opportunity for a hands-on individual looking to develop their skills within a specialist engineering environment.
Working as part of a small, skilled production team, you will assist in the manufacture of high-quality automated door systems supplied to residential and commercial installers nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Building and assembling steel side track sets
Cutting and assembling panels to precise size and specification
Operating hand tools including drills, routers, saws, and rivet guns
Cutting and heating steel springs
Reading and working from engineering drawings
Maintaining high standards of quality and safety
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
Confident using hand tools and automated machinery
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong teamwork skills
Full UK driving licence
Good attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
