About the role
As a Customer Interaction Specialist You’ll interact with a diverse range of people, ensuring our guests feel welcomed and valued in a maritime setting. You should be comfortable working in a performance-driven contact centre environment and confident in your role. Fluency in German, both written and spoken is preferred, but not essential.
Please note – this role is a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months, working 16 hours per week between 08:00 – 20:00.
You will be responsible for
Delivering professional and efficient customer sales and service across all interactions.
Handling reservations and inquiries via phone, email, chat, and other web-based solutions to meet customer needs.
Resolving customer and client queries, requests, orders, and complaints at the first point of contact.
Proactively reaching out to existing and potential customers to promote and upsell products.
Confidently matching and recommending suitable products or services through cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
About you
The ideal candidate will have previous contact centre experience and be fluent in both English and German, both written and spoken (German not essential). Strong proficiency in navigating a PC, excellent keyboard skills, and a clear speaking voice with good telephone etiquette are essential. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to build rapport with customers, and a strong team-oriented mindset. The perfect candidate must be flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Good attention to detail and strong conversational skills are essential for a Customer Interaction Specialist.
