We are currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our valued manufacturing client based in New Mills, Derbyshire. This is a fantastic long‑term opportunity offering stable hours, competitive pay, and a rotating shift pattern.
Position:
Machine Operator
Shift Pattern (Alternating Weekly):
Week 1 - £12.60 per hour
Monday-Thursday: 05:30 - 13:30
Friday: 05:30 - 11:30
Week 2 - £14.39 per hour
Monday-Thursday: 13:30 - 21:30
Friday: 11:30 - 17:30
Pay Details:
Base rate: £12.60 per hour
Afternoon shift allowance: + £1.79 per hour
Main Duties:
Operating slabber equipment and related production machinery
Meeting daily output targets
Conducting routine quality inspections
Following all health & safety procedures
Maintaining a tidy, well‑organised workspace
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Prior machine operation experience is desirable (training can be provided)
Comfortable working rotating shifts
Dependable, punctual, and proactive
Strong attention to detail and quality
