Delivery Engineer – EV Powertrain / Electric Vehicle Programme
Contract | 6 Months | Office Based
We are seeking a Delivery Engineer with strong experience in EV powertrain systems and automotive programme delivery to support the development and validation of next-generation electric propulsion systems.
This role sits within a leading automotive OEM environment focused on electric vehicle (EV) propulsion, power electronics, battery systems, electric motors and inverter technologies.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead cross-functional engineering delivery for EV powertrain systems

Manage programme plans, risks, issues and mitigation strategies

Oversee design release, prototyping, validation and testing activities

Coordinate supplier engineering and OEM stakeholder teams
-
Ensure compliance with automotive engineering standards
Essential Experience:

Strong background in electric vehicle powertrain or electrified propulsion systems

Experience in automotive engineering programme delivery
-
Knowledge of battery systems, electric motors, inverters, power electronics

Risk management and issue resolution in engineering environments

Supplier collaboration within OEM or Tier 1 automotive settings
Desirable:

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Automotive Engineering

Experience using JIRA and Confluence
-
PMP certification (advantageous)
This is a hands-on engineering delivery role — ideal for candidates with proven experience managing EV powertrain programmes from design through validation.
