Assistant Site Manager – Residential Development
Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Site Manager to join an active residential development in Bracknell. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a block of 25 flats, overseeing the project from 2nd fix through to completion.
This role is ideal for a driven construction professional with strong finishing-stage experience who can confidently coordinate trades, maintain programme targets, and ensure high-quality delivery standards.
This is a temporary contract position with work forecast to run until mid June.
Key Responsibilities

Supporting the Site Manager with daily site operations

Overseeing works from 2nd fix through final completion

Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring programme adherence

Maintaining strict health & safety compliance

Conducting site inspections and quality assurance checks
-
Managing snagging and defect resolution
-
Ensuring works are delivered to specification and deadlines
-
Supporting handover and completion procedures
-
Monitoring workmanship, productivity, and site standards

Liaising effectively with trades, suppliers, and management
Requirements

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
-
CSCS Card – Black Preferred (Gold Accepted)

First Aid at Work Certificate (3-Day)

Proven experience within residential construction

Strong understanding of finishing and completion phases

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Ability to coordinate multiple trades and priorities

Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations
