Basic Hourly Rate is £14ph!

Ramsgate Area
An established manufacturing business in the Ramsgate area is looking to appoint a reliable Assembly Operative on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is a hands-on woodworking role focused on building, adjusting, and preparing bespoke interior components, offering desirable weekday hours, strong hourly pay, and long-term security within a well-organised production environment.
Responsibilities

Assembling bespoke wooden components to specification

De-assembling and flat packing completed units

Using table saws, panel saws, and hand tools safely

Making minor adjustments during the assembly process

Completing builds that typically take 2–3 days per unit

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
Requirements

Experience in woodworking assembly

Confident using hand tools and woodworking machinery

Physically capable of moderate heavy lifting

Strong attention to detail
-
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team

Carpentry qualification not required
Salary and Benefits

£14 per hour

Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm

Two 30-minute lunch breaks

25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Christmas shutdown (using 3–5 days annual leave)
