We are proudly recruiting on behalf of our client, an established manufacturing business based in Broadstairs. They are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operative to join their growing team.

The role
You will play a key part in producing high-quality goods to exact specifications, ensuring all orders are completed accurately and on time. The position requires good attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key responsibilities
• Manufacture products to required measurements and quality standards
• Check stock, materials, and profiles; report any shortages
• Process orders with accuracy and meet promised dispatch dates
• Communicate progress, delays, or issues to supervisors
• Maintain excellent product knowledge as new systems are introduced
• Support other production areas when needed
• Keep work areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures
• Participate in stock takes
• Work reasonable overtime when required
• Complete a numeracy test during the interview process
Skills and competencies required
• Good manual dexterity
• Ability to stand and lift during the shift
• Positive, adaptable, can-do attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Team player but able to work independently
• Reliable with good time management
• Confident numeracy, literacy, and basic IT skills
