We are recruiting a Manufacturing Operative to join an established manufacturing business in Birtley.
This role suits someone who is detail-focused, process-driven and confident working within structured production standards. It is not a basic assembly role - accuracy and consistency are essential.
Salary
Shift Pattern
Three shift rotation:

6:00am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday
-
2:00pm - 10:00pm, Monday to Friday
-
10:00pm - 6:00am, Sunday to Thursday
-
Saturday required one in every three weeks when on the 6:00am–2:00pm shift
The Role - Manufacturing Operative
You will be responsible for:

Preparing materials accurately for production

Following detailed SOPs and ensuring correct product quantities

Operating production machinery safely and efficiently

Completing in-process quality checks

Working to daily output targets
-
Manually handling materials (role requires physical fitness)
Attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions are critical in this role.
Essential Experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
