The Opportunity
As a Finance Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting the finance team across transactional, credit control, and management accounting duties, gaining broad exposure to the full finance function.
This role is designed to develop into a Management Accountant position, with full CIMA study support (including exam fees and dedicated study time). You will receive hands-on mentoring from experienced finance professionals and gain practical exposure to month-end processes, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
This position would suit someone highly analytical, detail-oriented, and confident working with financial data.
About You
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field OR currently studying/part-qualified AAT
- Clear aspiration to become a qualified Management Accountant (CIMA)
- Strong advanced Excel skills
- Strong data analysis with the ability to interpret and present financial information clearly
- Excellent numerical and analytical ability
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with clients regarding outstanding payments
- Proactive, organised, and eager to learn
- Ambitious and committed to long-term career progression within finance
Previous finance or credit control experience is beneficial but not essential, attitude, drive, analytical capability, and commitment to qualification are key.
