An opportunity has arisen to join a well-known organisation based in Central Cambridge as they seek to recruit an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join on a temporary basis. This role has become available due to an internal promotion and the role will be for an initial 6 month period. This role will be office based for the first few weeks and then move to a hybrid model, with up to 3 days working from home available.
As the incoming Accounts Receivable Assistant, you will be tasked with the following duties:
Process and allocate daily cash receipts accurately in SAP.
Reconcile cash batches and support audit requirements.
Investigate and resolve unallocated or unclear payments.
Create debit notes for order processing.
Correct posting errors and support bad?debt write?off tasks.
Provide responsive support to internal teams and customers.As the successful candidate for this role, you will have previous experience working within an Accounts Receivable role, and be comfortable with processing in a high pace environment. You will also have strong experience in using accounting systems, and be competent with excel. You will also possess a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and be highly organised in your working approach.
