Tennial Personnel are currently recruiting for a reliable and self-motivated Cleaner to join a professional cleaning team covering sites in Ipswich and Felixstowe.
This opportunity offers a range of available shifts across multiple sites. While applicants are not required to cover all shifts, flexibility to take on a combination of them would be advantageous and will allow you to secure additional hours.
The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across corridors, office spaces, bathrooms and other designated areas within each site.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out cleaning duties across allocated areas within each site
Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Safely manage key safes, fobs and access codes where required
Communicate effectively with supervisors and on-site staff
Adhere to Health & Safety and safeguarding policies at all times
Available Working Hours
Ipswich:
Monday to Friday: 5:00am – 7:00am
Monday to Friday: 7:15am – 8:45am
Friday: 12:00pm – 1:00pm
Saturday and Sunday: 6:00am – 8:00am
Felixstowe:
Tuesday and Thursday: 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Skills Required
Attention to detail – ensuring all areas are kept clean, hygienic, and hazard-free.
Time management – ability to complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks efficiently within part-time hours.
Ability to follow cleaning schedules and policies – including health & safety and COSHH
Good communication skills – able to interact politely with residents, staff, and visitors.
Use of cleaning equipment and materials – vacuums, mops, steam cleaners, disinfectants, etc.
Reliability and punctuality – consistent attendance is essential in a care environment.
Ability to work independently – carrying out cleaning tasks with minimal supervision.
Physical stamina – capable of performing manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for periods of time.
