General Maintenance Operative
Location: Coventry
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: 25-30 hours per week, 3-5 days (between 9am-5pm)
Contract Type: Temp Ongoing
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and skilled General Maintenance Operative to support day‑to‑day upkeep across the site. This is a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone with broad maintenance experience and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Repairing and maintaining kitchen appliances
Painting and general decorative improvements
Replacing and repairing ceiling tiles/panels
Carrying out basic electrical tasks (e.g., changing bulbs, minor fixes)
Basic plumbing tasks (e.g., leaks, blockages, tap repairs)
General site maintenance and ad‑hoc repair duties
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
What We're Looking For
Previous general maintenance or facilities experience
Good all-round knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs
Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Hours & Working Pattern
25-30 hours per week
Flexible across 3-5 days
Working between 9am-5pm, depending on workload and site requirements
