Window Fabricator / Production Operative Location: Witham, Essex
Salary: £12.21 per hour (increasing with experience and upon permanent employment - Also minimum wage is increasing to £12.71 in April)

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with window manufacturing experience or transferable skills from a similar production or fabrication environment.

The Role – Window Fabricator As a Window Fabricator, you will play a key role in the production of high-quality widows, working across various departments within the factory as you progress and develop your skills.
Duties will include:
Assisting in the manufacture and assembly of Windows
Working on the hanging line and learning different furniture options and window ranges
Supporting the stores department with customer and window packs
Glass inspection and quality control checks
Operating machinery safely in line with training and procedures
Maintaining machinery and assisting with general upkeep
Heavy lifting where required
Ensuring all work meets company quality standards
Keeping work areas clean and tidy
Completing performance documentation accurately and on time
Supporting other areas of production as required
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as a Window Fabricator, Window Assembler, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative or similar
Experience within uPVC, timber, aluminium windows or related fabrication industries is highly desirable
Strong work ethic and punctuality (early start required)
Ability to lift heavy components
Good understanding of Health & Safety and PPE requirements
Flexible team player willing to learn multiple departments
