We are now looking for an Administrator to join us on a part-time, permanent basis, working 16.5 hours a week, including Wednesdays and Fridays.

The Role
As an Administrator, you will be part of a pooled administrative team, supporting our services, delivering effective customer service and maintaining our records and service information systems.
Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries, you will handle the administration of new carers through the application, assessment and approval process. You will plan and organise carer training events, produce assessment documentation for the approval panel and process and manage all carer and staff DBS checks.
Ensuring all active carers have up-to-date insurance, you will maintain records of people who use our services, as well as carers, in a variety of written and electrical formats. You will assist with updating vacancies on our website, provide a PA support service to the Team Leader as required and organise meetings and events, including carer consultation meetings, scheme meetings and staff meetings.
Additionally, you will:
- Manage the on-call rota and update the answering machine
- Handle all incoming and outgoing post and process correspondence
- Provide admin assistance across the organisation
- Ensure the smooth running of the office by managing resources and provisions
About You
To be considered as an Administrator, you will need:
- Experience in an administrative, office support or similar role
- Experience maintaining accurate records and managing electronic and paper-based files
- Experience in a busy office environment using IT systems
- Experience working effectively with internal and external contacts
- An understanding of confidentiality, data protection and information handling requirements
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and similar software
- GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above or equivalent
- A full, valid driving licence and the ability to travel according to the needs of the role
