Customer Operations Manager
We are recruiting a Customer Operations Manager for our client in Aldridge, Walsall. This is an exciting opportunity to join a family‑owned food service business, leading a high‑performing team to drive commercial growth and protect revenue.

Location: Aldridge, Walsall
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
40 hours per week
Salary: £48,000 /year
Role of an Customer Operations Manager:
Lead and develop the Customer Operations function, overseeing Internal Sales and Customer Service teams, including resource planning and performance management.
Coach and support two supervisors to build capability, strengthen team performance, and ensure effective succession planning.
Drive service excellence and customer retention by managing KPIs, resolving escalations, and implementing programmes that protect and grow revenue.
Collaborate across Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, Commercial and Finance to improve processes, enhance customer experience, and support system improvements such as Business Central.
Requirements for an Customer Operations Manager:
Qualifications:
Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent - Essential
Management or leadership qualification (ILM, CMI) - Desirable
Customer service qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3) - DesirableExperience:
Proven experience managing an internal sales or call‑centre team, including supervisors and customer‑facing operations - Essential
Experience implementing customer retention or service improvement programmes - Essential
