As a Warehouse Manager, you don't just run a warehouse. You set the standard for how it feels. You can walk into a site and sense within minutes whether it's aligned.... or drifting.
Is the stock where it should be?
Are the team really understanding the priorities?
Is the MRP telling the truth, or just being tolerated?
That instinct is earned. As Warehouse Manager you have full ownership of a busy warehouse and light manufacturing operation in the West Midlands.
Goods in, inventory control, picking, packing, despatch. The entire flow from receipt to delivery.
You'll report directly to the Operations Director, and you'll be trusted to run it properly....
Not just keep it ticking....
As Warehouse Manager, you'll strengthen inventory accuracy so it can be relied upon. You'll ensure on time delivery is predictable, not "it will just happen." You'll build a safety culture that's lived daily, not mentioned in audits. And you'll make sure the MRP reflects what is actually happening on the floor. You'll lead team leaders and section managers who look to you for direction. Some processes are there, some need tightening.. that's where you come in.
As Warehouse Manager here you have real accountability.
Budget responsibility.
Audit standards.
Capacity planning.
Escalations that don't get pushed elsewhere. But it isn't about being heavy handed, it's about being steady, visible and consistent.
If you've built your career in manufacturing or engineering, you'll understand the pace and the pressure. If you genuinely know stock control inside out, and you enjoy shaping structure rather than firefighting chaos, this Warehouse Manager role will feel like a natural next step.
Salary up to £50,000 26 days holiday plus bank holidays.
Company pension.
Death in service.
Employee Assistance Programme.
You are a proper Warehouse Manager, your influence will be felt every day. If you're a Warehouse Manager who takes pride in running a warehouse that people trust, shall we talk?
