We are currently recruiting Domestic Support staff to cover staff sickness at a nursing home in Rotherham, providing essential cleaning support to maintain a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment.
Location:
Rawmarsh, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, S62
Hours:
08:30 – 16:30
5 days per week
Flexibility required – weekdays and weekends on a rota basis
Pay Rate:
£12.65 per hour
Contract:
ASAP start
Ongoing cover until Tuesday 31/03/2026
Key Duties:

General and deep cleaning in line with cleaning schedules

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control

Safe use and storage of cleaning materials and equipment (COSHH compliant)

Reporting any faults or issues promptly

Working respectfully within a care environment, maintaining residents’ dignity and privacy
Essential Requirements (Non-Negotiable):

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – required for immediate start

Previous cleaning/domestic experience (care or similar environments desirable)

Good understanding of health & safety and infection control
-
Reliable, professional, and able to work as part of a team
