We Build Recruitment are currently looking to recruit an Admin Assistant to support our clients growing office team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth administrative operations across customer service, project coordination, and general office duties in a dynamic scaffolding and access services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support including answering phones, managing emails, and handling correspondence.
- Assist with preparing and issuing quotes, invoices, and customer documentation.
- Maintain and update client and project records in internal systems.
- Coordinate with site teams to track project progress and update relevant paperwork.
- Support scheduling and diary management for office staff and field personnel.
- Assist with order processing and liaison with suppliers.
- Help maintain office supplies, filing systems, and internal databases.
- Deliver excellent customer service in person and over the phone, addressing enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Perform ad hoc administrative tasks to aid team performance and office operations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Strong organisational abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new systems.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently under limited supervision.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Previous experience in construction, scaffolding, or related sectors.
- Familiarity with CRM or project management software
