Pay Rate: £14.95 per hour
Contract Type: 6‑month contract
Hours: 37.5 per week

Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 15:55
Friday: 07:00 - 11:35
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Production Administrator to join our Operations Department at our Skelmersdale site. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with Production Area Leaders, you will play an essential role in maintaining smooth and efficient administrative processes across a busy production environment.
This position is ideal for someone highly organised, confident with numbers, detail‑focused, and comfortable working with data, systems, and production‑related documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the Operations Department
Support scheduling, record keeping, and document management tasks
Record, compile, and retrieve operational and production information
Run daily production reports between 07:00 and 08:00
Extract data from SAP and assist in transferring information into Power BI
Maintain accurate data entry, particularly within Excel
Create and update spreadsheets and reports
Manage sundries and production‑related ordering (paper, stationery, etc.)
Ensure accurate record keeping and data integrity
Work closely with Production Area Leaders and the Operations Manager to support planning and operational needs
Assist with basic production planning activities
Required Skills & Experience
2-5 years' experience in a similar administrative role
Strong organisational and communication skills
Comfortable working with numbers and detailed information
High level of accuracy in data entry and document preparation
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, data entry) - Essential
Experience using SAP or another ERP system a strong advantage (training available if needed)
Background in production admin, planning, data entry, or reporting is desirable
Ability to work onsite and manage early‑morning reporting deadlines
