An established and trusted property firm in the South West is seeking a Part Time Finance Assistant (FTC) to join their dynamic and fast‑paced Finance Team in Taunton. This role is working over 3 days, with a competitive salary of up to £27,000 FTE.
They are looking for a Part Time Finance Administrator who will take ownership of key credit control responsibilities alongside broader finance administration duties. The role involves managing the credit control cycle, supporting debt recovery, and ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s financial processes.
You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting cash flow, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the Finance Team. In this position, you’ll be responsible for ensuring:

Invoices are issued and collected on time

Debts are recovered efficiently

Financial reporting is accurate

Strong working relationships are built with colleagues and external partners such as solicitors
Key responsibilities:

Taking ownership of the credit control cycle and managing debt recovery

Ensuring debts are collected in a timely manner

Completing daily bank reconciliations

Creating detailed Excel-based reports

Confidently using accountancy software to maintain accurate records

Liaising with solicitors and other services as required

Supporting the wider Finance Team as needed
