We’re now looking for a proactive and reliable Facilities Assistant to support the smooth operation, cleanliness, safety and presentation of our office locations. This is a mobile role, requiring regular travel between sites to carry out housekeeping audits, facilities checks and coordination with contractors and site contacts.

We’re looking for a Facilities Assistant to be based in our Irlam head office to support multiple office locations across the business.
This role plays a key part in maintaining consistent standards across sites, ensuring our offices are safe, welcoming and professionally presented.

What You’ll Do
As a Facilities Assistant, you’ll provide hands-on support across multiple sites, helping maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation. Your responsibilities will include:

Travelling between allocated office sites to carry out regular housekeeping and cleanliness audits

Completing audit checklists, reports and photographic evidence where required

Identifying issues relating to hygiene, health & safety, cleanliness and building presentation

Liaising with cleaning contractors and on-site teams to address audit findings

Following up on corrective actions and carrying out re-audits where necessary

Reporting defects, damages and maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager

Carrying out basic facilities tasks, including:

Checking washrooms, kitchens, communal areas and meeting rooms

Monitoring consumables (toiletries, cleaning supplies, etc.)

Supporting minor moves, room setups and space resets when required

Ensuring compliance with company standards, policies and health & safety requirements

Maintaining accurate records of site visits, reports and mileage

Representing the company professionally when on site and when engaging with stakeholders and contractors
What We’re Looking For
Essential

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly between sites

Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues quickly

Good organisational and time-management skills

Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload

Basic IT skills (email, spreadsheets, mobile reporting tools)
Desirable

Previous experience in facilities, housekeeping, cleaning audits or property management

Knowledge of health & safety or hygiene standards

Experience working with contractors or service providers
