About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on IT System Administrator to support users at a local European site while working closely with a central IT function. You’ll be the go-to person for day-to-day IT support, keeping systems running smoothly and ensuring a great user experience.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and being the local IT expert-without the pressure of people management.
What You’ll Be Doing

Provide first-line, on-site IT support for hardware, software, and network issues

Resolve incidents locally and escalate complex issues to central IT

Act as the main IT contact for local users

Install, maintain, and manage end-user devices and peripherals

Coordinate repairs and vendors; maintain IT asset inventory

Monitor local network components and support basic patching/cabling

Manage user accounts and access rights (Active Directory)

Implement local IT security standards and handle security incidents

Support IT rollouts, upgrades, and continuous service improvements

Collaboration with central IT team on VPN and WAN issues (read only)
What We’re Looking For
Essential

IT-related qualification or equivalent hands-on experience

Strong knowledge of Windows client environments

Experience with Active Directory

Basic understanding of networks and Windows Server environments

Confidence supporting printer hardware and peripherals

Good communication skills in English
Nice to Have

Experience working in an international or multi-site environment

Knowledge of IT security best practices
