About the RoleCarrying out statutory compliance checks, including weekly and monthly inspections
Completing minor reactive maintenance tasks such as basic repairs, adjustments, and fabric works
Proactively identifying defects, safety concerns, or compliance issues and escalating where necessary
Building positive working relationships with tenants, managing agents, and visiting contractors
Accurately completing maintenance records, logs, and inspection reports
Helping ensure the building remains safe, compliant, and well‑presented at all times
Requirements
Proven experience in a multi‑skilled maintenance role, ideally within a commercial or multi‑tenanted environment
Good working knowledge of general building services and maintenance disciplines, including:
Basic plumbing
Joinery and fabric repairs
General electrical awareness
Experience carrying out statutory or routine compliance checks
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively
Professional communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset
Desirable (but not essential)
Experience working within facilities management or property management environments
Familiarity with CAFM systems or digital maintenance reporting tools
