Customer Service Executive – Travel & Hospitality

6 Month contract ending 30th September 2026
Salary: £25,355 pro rata
Hours 9.00am-5.30pm Mon to Fri with 1 hour lunch.
You will also be expected to work Saturday and/or Sundays 9.00am-5.00pm on a rotational shift basis. If you work a weekend, you get a day off in lieu in the week. You are also expected if to work a Bank Holiday if you are on the rota that day.
The role is based near York Train Station

About the Role
As a Customer Service Executive, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers before and during their holidays. You’ll play a key part in creating a smooth, enjoyable experience by handling enquiries, resolving issues, and supporting the operational side of each booking.
This is a varied, fast‑paced role where no two days are the same — perfect for someone who thrives on helping people, solving problems creatively, and working with precision.
What You’ll Be Doing
Acting as the first point of contact for customers needing support before or during their tour
Handling inbound and outbound calls, as well as email enquiries
Issuing booking confirmations and processing online bookings
Resolving customer queries with professionalism and care
Supporting the administration of holiday cancellations
Discussing alternative travel options with customers when needed
Booking UK rail and hotel arrangements to enhance customer itineraries
Arranging visas and ensuring all travel documentation is correct
Carrying out mobility checks to ensure customer needs are fully understood and met
