Forklift Handler
Location: Sutton Coldfield
Hourly Rate: £12.80 - £14.07
Working Pattern: Full Time
Shifts 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm Monday - Friday
Shifts differ on a friday.
Are you an experienced forklift operator looking to join a dynamic manufacturing environment? Adecco is seeking a dedicated Forklift Material Handler.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Forklift Material Handler, you will report directly to the Logistics & Warehouse Manager and will play a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency of our operations. Your responsibilities will include
Material Movement: Keep materials flowing to production by loading and unloading crates, and moving stock safely using both Counterbalance and Combi forklifts.
Goods In/Out: Unload deliveries, check orders, and update bookings in SAP to make sure everything is processed on time.
Stock Control: Monitor stock levels, deal with shortages quickly, and follow 5S standards to keep the area organised.
Record all incoming goods accurately to ensure correct and timely transactions.
Warehouse Support: Pick, move, and return items between warehouses to fulfil orders, ensuring all transfers are completed correctly.
Qualifications:
Valid Combi and Counterbalance Forklift licences are essential.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory management systems is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.Why Join Adecco?
