A General Site Operative is required to support clean water repair works on an active site environment. This is a hands on role suited to someone physically fit, reliable and comfortable working outdoors while following strict health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• Placing No Parking cones to enable clean water repair works to be carried out safely
• Collecting and removing signs, barriers and cones promptly once works are completed
• Assisting with backfilling and general site duties as required
• Supporting the site team to ensure works are completed efficiently
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working area at all times
Requirements
• Manual Handling training, essential
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Previous site or civils experience preferred
• Streetworks qualification desirable, training can be facilitated
• Reliable, punctual and safety focused
Working Hours and Overtime
• Standard working hours, 13:00 to 21:00
• Monday to Friday working pattern
• Overtime available when required
Overtime Rates
• After 21:00, paid at 1.5x
• Saturday, paid at 1.5x
• Sunday, paid at 2x
