Due to sustained business growth, we are looking for an Operations Support professional to join our team on a permanent basis. This role plays a key part in supporting our operational teams by coordinating subcontractor engagement, onboarding, and compliance, and helping ensure we have the right people in place to deliver our projects successfully.
This is a full-time role with hybrid working available (minimum 3 days per week in our Bracknell head office).
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual at the start of their career, ideally with experience in a fast-paced environment such as construction, hospitality, or a similar operational setting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in operations, workforce coordination, or people support within the construction industry.
Your responsibilities will include:

Identify, assess, and onboard subcontractors and operatives (both Limited companies and self-employed) to meet business and project requirements

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of reliable subcontractors and operatives, supporting resourcing gaps across teams (self-employed and limited companies subcontractors)

Manage the end-to-end subcontractor onboarding process, ensuring full compliance with PiLON’s health & safety policies, procedures, and standards

Coordinate and manage contracts, CEST assessments, and IR35 compliance processes

Arrange and track Right to Work checks, DBS checks, and mandatory training (e.g. Asbestos Awareness), maintaining accurate and auditable records

Act as a key point of contact for new subcontractors, including regular communication and site visits to gather feedback and support strong working relationships

Work closely with operational teams to understand workforce needs and proactively source suitable subcontractors and operatives through industry networks, platforms, and referrals

Attend industry and networking events to build relationships and represent PiLON professionally

Desirable qualifications but not essential:

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
