Key Responsibilities:
Assist Recycling/Refuse Loaders in the collection and disposal of waste efficiently.
Conduct daily vehicle checks in compliance with Operators Licence requirements.
Submit necessary record sheets weekly to ensure smooth operations.
Report any vehicle defects or safety concerns promptly to the Vehicle Fleet Management service.
Undertake routine vehicle maintenance to comply with the Road Traffic Act and minimize breakdowns.
Operate the vehicle effectively to meet collection targets, improve recycling rates, and address any community complaints or access issues.
Load and unload heavy loads onto the bin wagon with care.
What We're Looking For:
A valid Class 2 driving licence and CPC qualification.
Proven experience as a Class 2 Driver, preferably in refuse collection or a related field.
Strong references from the last two years.
An updated CV showcasing your skills and experience.
