Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 OTE

Overview
We are recruiting for an experienced and commercially driven Retail Manager to lead a successful automotive retail operation in Chigwell. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving sales performance, managing the showroom team, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve and exceed targets

Drive new and used vehicle sales performance and profitability

Oversee day-to-day showroom operations

Ensure exceptional customer experience and high CSI scores

Monitor KPIs including volume, margin, finance, and add-on products

Coach, train, and performance-manage the sales team

Ensure FCA compliance and adherence to company processes

Work closely with senior management to deliver business objectives
Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a Retail Manager or Sales Manager within automotive retail

Strong leadership and people-management skills
-
Results-driven with strong commercial awareness

Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
-
Sound knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance

Full UK driving licence
