Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer
3 Shift: 37.5 hours/Week 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm/6am

Commutable from - Newbury, Woolhampton, Reading, Theale, Mortimer, Hungerford, Didcot
£50,000 + Overtime paid up to 2x normal rate

Our client is a leading packaging manufacturer, part of a larger national group, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to a recent investment, they are looking to bring onboard additional electrical maintenance engineers into their team.
Role & Responsibilities:
Electrical & mechanical maintenance, PPM's, and repairs
Working on a variety of high-speed production & packaging machinery, conveyors, automation & controls and plant machinery
Dealing with PLCs, AC invertors, Servo Drive systems, DC drives,
Work to PM schedule, monitor machine performance (OEE), downtime and analysis for performance improvement
Coach and support operators to develop their skills
Utilise software (Maximo) to record reactive and preventative maintenance Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Must be an electrically biased maintenance engineer or electrical engineer
Have worked in a fast paced engineering environment
Be comfortable with working on mechanical or electrical problems / faults
Ideally have some mechanical experience
Have a HND qualification.18th Edition would be desirable
