I’m working with a well-established technology services organisation that’s looking to appoint a Service Delivery Manager to take ownership of service performance across a portfolio of enterprise clients, with a strong focus on network-led and infrastructure services.
This role suits someone who understands technology delivery, enjoys managing people and customers, and wants the opportunity to shape how services are delivered rather than simply keeping the lights on.
The Role
As Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of managed and support services, working closely with technical teams and customers to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
-
Managing and developing a team of 8 engineers
-
Owning service delivery across enterprise network and infrastructure contracts
-
Ensuring SLAs and service KPIs are met and continuously improved
-
Acting as the escalation point for service-related issues
-
Shaping service processes, reporting, and customer experience
-
Overseeing maintenance, BAU support, and ongoing service performance
-
Working closely with technical leads, project teams, and account management
This is a hands-on service leadership role with real accountability and influence.
Technology & Services Environment
The organisation delivers and supports a range of enterprise technologies, including:
-
Enterprise networking services (LAN, WAN, WiFi)
-
Cisco-based environments (switching, wireless, security)
-
Network monitoring, maintenance, and managed services
-
Infrastructure and connectivity services
-
Technology solutions aligned to commercial and enterprise environments, including smart and connected buildings
You don’t need to be hands-on technically, but you must be comfortable managing services in a network-led, technically complex environment.
The Person They’re Looking For
-
Proven experience in Service Delivery / Service Management
-
Comfortable operating in corporate or enterprise technology environments
-
Strong people manager with the ability to lead, motivate, and hold teams accountable
-
A self-starter with a proactive, improvement-focused mindset
-
Confident dealing with senior stakeholders and enterprise customers
-
Professional, personable, and able to fit into a work-hard, play-hard culture
-
Someone driven, credible, and keen to make an impact
Why This Role?
-
Ownership of service delivery across enterprise technology services
-
Leadership responsibility with scope to shape service standards and processes
-
Exposure to modern network and infrastructure environments
-
Competitive salary depending on experience (£50k–£75k)
-
Opportunity to grow and develop with the organisation
If you’re a Service Delivery Manager with experience supporting network or infrastructure services and want a role where your leadership and judgement genuinely matter, I’d be happy to have a confidential conversation.
