Location: Derby (on-site with parking available)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Four days: 8:30am - 4:30pm
One day per week: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Hybrid working: 1 day per week from home after successful 6-month probation
The Role
An established and growing training provider within the rail industry is seeking a highly motivated Administrator to join their Derby support team. Working as part of a friendly team of five, this is a newly created role that plays a key part in supporting the team and clients across the UK.
The successful candidate will be organised, proactive, and confident working on their own initiative, while also enjoying being part of a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Managing and responding to incoming enquiries from key clients
Coordinating outsourced bookings for clients
Raising purchase orders for suppliers
Opening new supplier accounts and agreeing payment terms
Managing management reports
Administering IOSH and other health & safety training activities,
Providing administrative and operational support to the wider Business Support, Sales and Training teams, including cover during annual leave and absences
Supporting ad-hoc tasks such as travel amendments, courier bookings and inbound enquiries

Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Confident managing multiple tasks and priorities
Strong communication and administrative skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
