Warehouse Operative – Picking, Packing & Stock Control
Location: Bridport Job Type: Full‑time Pay: From £12.21 - £12.50 per hour Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm (minimum 38 hours per week)
About the Role
A position is available within our clients warehouse team, focusing on picking, packing and stock control. Full training is provided, including forklift training, but applicants must be enthusiastic, willing to learn and prepared to work hard in a sometimes demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities
Loading and unloading vehicles and containers
Stock control and inventory accuracy
Correct handling and storage of goods to maintain quality standards
Maintaining clean and tidy work areas
Operating equipment safely and responsibly
Carrying out any additional duties required for the successful completion of the role
Experience & Requirements
Previous general warehouse experience
Physically fit – the role involves regular lifting
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Personal Qualities
Positive, “can‑do” attitude
Able to take and follow instructions
Calm and level‑headed
Flexible and adaptable
Good sense of humour
