Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable Facilities Assistant to help maintain our offices and surrounding social housing sites to a high standard. The role includes office cleaning duties and driving around local sites to collect litter and rubbish, helping to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for staff, residents, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning office areas including kitchens, toilets, meeting rooms, and communal spaces
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and health & safety
Driving company vehicles
Collecting litter and rubbish from outdoor areas and housing estates
Disposing of waste safely and correctly
Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or damage
Carrying out general facilities and caretaking duties as required
Requirements
Full clean UK driving licence (essential)
Previous experience in cleaning, facilities, or caretaking (preferred but not essential)
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Good attention to detail and a reliable work ethic
Physically able to carry out manual work
Punctual, trustworthy, and professional
