Careermakers Recruitment are looking for a number of Assembly Operatives for our ever-growing client based in the heart of Normanton, WF6.
As an Assembly Operative, you will work on a wide range of projects, following drawings and instructions to ensure all products are produced to the highest standards of quality and finish. You will be hands-on, working with different materials and components, and contributing to the successful delivery of outstanding results for our clients. We’re looking for someone who is flexible, reliable, and enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Main Duties

Assemble signage products, including structural components, face panels, brackets, and LED lighting systems.

Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and specifications accurately.

Safely and effectively use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks.

Assist with fitting and wiring LED lighting where required.

Ensure all completed signage meets quality and finish standards.

Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment at all times
Candidate Requirements

Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing is desirable but not essential (full training will be provided).

Strong practical skills with excellent attention to detail.

Flexible, reliable, and willing to work overtime when required.

Positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality.

Ability to work confidently with hand tools.
Working hours will be Monday - Friday 7am - 3.30pm, with a pay rate of £13.50 per hour
