What We Offer
Salary: £15,149 per year - Your hourly rate of pay will increase within your second year of apprenticeship from the national apprenticeship wage to the national minimum wage for your age group.
Contract Type: This is a fixed term, two-year level 2 apprenticeship study programme, Full Time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, including 1 day per week at college.

What You’ll Do

Support the day-to-day running of the College farm

Assist with Livestock care, including learn how to milk, feed, handle health checks and welfare routines of Dairy cows, sheep and beef animals.

Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment (with full training provided)

Help with crop production, land management, and seasonal farming activities

Work closely with experienced farm staff to support teaching, demonstrations, and student learning

Follow health & safety, biosecurity, and animal welfare standards at all times
