GENERAL OFFICE ASSISTANT - PRESTON – 3 MONTHS (POSSIBLE T-P) – £12.71P/H
Our client is seeking a reliable and organised General Office Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day running of their office. This is a part-time temporary role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Reception duties, including answering the door, managing the switchboard, and distributing post

Providing administrative support using Microsoft Office, particularly typing notes for the Chairman and organising meetings via Outlook
-
Making travel arrangements and assisting with event organisation (e.g. lunch orders and room setup)

Coordinating office maintenance and liaising with external suppliers, including the vending machine provider
-
Organising valet services for the Chairman’s car and driving the vehicle to a local petrol station when required
-
Carrying out ad hoc administrative tasks as required
Skills & Experience
-
Previous office or administrative experience preferred

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Word
-
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Professional, friendly manner with good communication skills

Flexible and proactive approach
