We have an exciting opportunity for a machine operative to join our clients' successful manufacturing team in Stanley. The role involves working for a forward thinking growing manufacturing business.
This role is permanent but may initially commence as temporary.
Hours of work are: Permanent dayshift 5.30am - 6.00pm Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday for 4 weeks and Thursday, Friday, Saturday for 4 weeks working 5.30am - 6.00pm on an ongoing rotation there after.
Job Description

Update and maintain all QA and production records as required.

General production duties and cleaning duties.

To assist Supervisors and Team Leaders to achieve their goals.

Carry out stock checks materials.

Ensure that all work areas are kept clean, tidy and free from damaged goods.

Checking and printing of production codes are required.

Production checks for closures, volume control, labelling and packing.

Carry out quality checks as specified in customer specification or advised by QA department.

Ensure that customer specification is adhered to and appropriate quality standards are maintained.

Ensure equipment is running correctly and safely. Take appropriate action to resolve problems, including stopping the line when necessary in order to request assistance from maintenance or supervision if required.

Filling machine operation and setting.

Set up and run the plant machinery in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
