Nursery Assistant required for a three month cover.
Beautiful nursery based in Hackney, East London.
This is a full time post based on a shift rota. Hours will be 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm and 10am-6pm.
You will need to be qualified in level 3 in Chidcare, have a enhanced DBS registered on the update service.
Job Purpose
To support the care, learning, and development of children in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating nursery environment, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in providing high-quality care and education for children aged [insert age range].

Support planned learning activities and encourage children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.

Help create a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.

Supervise children during play, meals, and rest times.

Assist with personal care routines, including feeding, toileting, and changing nappies where required.

Observe children’s progress and report concerns or achievements to senior staff.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain consistent routines and standards.

Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
