Foundry Operative - Stacker
We are currently recruiting a Foundry Operative - Stacker to join a busy foundry in the Congleton area. This is a temp-to-perm role offering structured rotating shifts and long-term opportunities for the right candidate.
Working Hours:
Week 1: Monday to Thursday – 06:00 to 18:00
Week 2: Monday to Wednesday – 18:00 to 06:00Key Duties of this Foundry Operative – Stacker role:
Stacking and organising castings and materials safely
Manual handling of products in line with site procedures
Supporting production and finishing processes within the foundry
Ensuring work areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe
Carrying out quality checks and reporting any defects or issues
Following all health & safety guidelines at all timesSkills & Experience Required for this Foundry Operative – Stacker role:
Previous experience working in a foundry, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environment preferred
Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
Comfortable working day and night shifts on a rotating pattern
Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a teamDetails of this Foundry Operative – Stacker role:
£12.76 per hour plus shift allowance
Rotating shift pattern with built-in rest days
Temp-to-perm opportunity after a successful probation period
Ongoing work in a stable foundry environment
