Position: Warehouse Operative
Location: Crawley / Edenbridge and surrounding area
Salary: £24,000 - £30,000
Our client, a growing distribution company are actively seeking a proactive Warehouse Operative.
The successful candidate will be involved in the full flow of goods from receiving deliveries, moving and managing stock, preparing orders, and supporting dispatch.
Job Overview
Unloading and loading deliveries, containers and vehicles
Picking, packing and preparing orders for shipment
Booking stock in and keeping inventory records accurate
Operating internal stock control systems
Moving materials safely around the warehouse using a pivot steer forklift
Supporting despatch and goods-in processes, including checks and paperwork
Assembling and preparing products where required
Carrying out heavy manual handling in line with safety procedures
Taking care of stock to avoid damage or loss
Carrying out basic checks and upkeep of warehouse equipment
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment Job Requirements
Previous warehouse experience or similar role
Ideally have forklift experience or willingness to train
Comfortable with regular heavy lifting and physical work
Strong attention to detail, particularly with stock accuracy and despatch
Experience of working in a fast-paced, high-output environment
Mechanical or practical aptitude is an advantage Salary & Benefits

Monthly Performance Bonus - To be discussed
Full-time, onsite position (Monday-Friday, 8-5)
28 days annual leave including bank holidays
