About the Role
We are seeking two experienced and motivated Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our established and supportive team. Reporting to the Grounds Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing a variety of outdoor spaces to a consistently high standard.
This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone confident working independently, with the ability to support and occasionally lead a small team when required.
Key Responsibilities

Lawn mowing using pedestrian, ride-on, and tractor equipment

Strimming and hedge trimming

Litter picking and leaf clearance

General landscaping and grounds maintenance

Sports field maintenance and line marking

Winter gritting duties
-
Safe operation of hand and power tools

Towing trailers between sites
Essential Requirements

Proven experience in grounds or landscape maintenance
-
Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)

Experience towing trailers

Ability to work independently and lead a small team when required

Strong communication skills with a professional approach

Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Availability to start between February and March (date TBC)

Ability to provide work references
Desirable (but Not Essential)

PA1 / PA6 certification

Sports field maintenance and line marking experience

Mechanical knowledge of grounds maintenance equipment

Gardening or horticultural knowledge
