The Burford Recruitment Company is delighted to be supporting a private household near Burford, who is seeking an experienced and reliable Housekeeper/Cook to manage all aspects of housekeeping and daily meal preparation.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain all areas of the property to an exceptional standard, ensuring the home is always clean, tidy, and well presented

Carry out all general housekeeping duties – vacuuming, mopping, polishing, dusting, and deep cleaning as required

Manage laundry, ironing, and care of bed linen, towels, and the Principal’s clothing, including arranging dry cleaning where necessary

Oversee household supplies and ensure cleaning products and essentials are well stocked

Prepare and serve healthy, well-balanced lunches and suppers during the week

Manage grocery shopping, kitchen organisation, and menu planning

Care for fine items such as china, silver, and crystal

Assist with ad hoc household tasks, guest preparation, and errands as required
The ideal candidate will:
