Job Title: Workshop Labourer
Location: Leicestershire, LE9
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 16:00pm
Pay: £14 - £15 per hour

The Company:
A well-established manufacturing company specialising in high-end bespoke furniture. Due to continued growth and the expansion of existing contracts, the company is recruiting skilled Bench Hand Joiners to join its team of craftsmen in Leicester.
The Role:
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Shop
- Assist machinist with general duties such as loading edge bander
- Assist loading CNC
- Cover CNC operatives when on leave
- Provide general labour/pair of hands to machine shop
- Assist with general house keeping/tidying
- Loading/unloading
Stock management:
- Assist workshop manager with stock management
- Finish Shop - Receive deliveries from suppliers and place into goods in bay
- Move any items not in the goods in bay into the goods bay
- Sort through items in the goods in bay and put away into storeroom on correct shelves
- Checking goods for damage & discrepancies
- Ensuring accurate paperwork and giving paperwork to procurement
- Communicating to procurement and workshop manager when deliveries are received
- Book goods into the system - process not in place yet
- Ensure items are ready for collection in goods out area
- Manage all paperwork with the collection drivers and ensure paperwork is signed
General
- Wrapping finished joinery goods ready to be sent out/collected
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods
- Keep compound neat, clean and tidy
- Keep workshop neat and tidy & walkways clear
- Follow all company polices
- Any other duties requested by the management
About You:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Require a driving license
Forklift License (Not Essential)
